CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar launch Eklavya series for NEP 2020

CBSE has collaborated with IIT Gandhinagar and launched Eklavya series for NEP 2020 in schools. The registration process have started on September 10, 2021 onwards.  

Central Council for Secondary Education, CBSE collaborated with Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Gandhinagar and launched the Eklavya series in schools. The Eklavya series will be launched in schools with the aim of clarifying the NEP and showing how to effectively implement the NEP 2020 in schools.

The series will feature an interactive online educational program that will contain lots of hands-on activities, projects, models that help conceptual understanding of various topics, challenging questions, homework that promotes out-of-the-box creative thinking like why Neeraj Chopra threw the 36-degree javelin and inspiring DIY project videos (do it yourself) using local material that connects the program to life.

The registration process started on September 10, 2021, is mandatory and free. The first episode will air on September 26 and the topic will be Neeraj Chopra and Newton’s Laws of Motion.

As per the statement issued by the Council, the content will be of varying levels and will cover subjects in the Science and Mathematics curriculum for grades 6 to 12. Live episodes can be viewed on the official CCL IITGN Youtube page. The certificate of participation for all modules and the certificate of competence for the whole course will cost 100 + taxes.
