The high court was told by the CBSE and CISCE to review their assessment plan for the assessment of Grade 12 learners and to include a dispute resolution mechanism for candidates to challenge the results.

“I would also like to point out that on the day when the students ‘optional exams are not satisfied with their examinations and policy, the candidates’ examinations will be held at any time between August 15, 2021, to September 15, 2021, depending on the circumstances,” said e-CBSE.

The CBSE said it had attached a condition that the dispute regarding the counting of results would be referred to a committee formed by the board.

He said the plan had been amended to mean that after the announcement of the result, if students were not satisfied with their results, CBSE would provide an online registration center.
