Hyderabad Minor Rape Case: Telangana DGP declared on Twitter after the verification of identification marks on the deceased body

Hyderabad: Raju, accused of rape and murder in Saidabad, was found dead Thursday on the train tracks within the confines of Ghanpur station in the Jangaon district of Telangana. The accused’s corpse was identified by tattoos and other identifying marks on his body.

The incident took place on September 9, Thursday, according to police, the accused identified as Raju is a 30-year-old man who was a neighbor of the victim’s family and had befriended the child six years before committing the crime. The young girl was found dead in Raju’s house the same day.

Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao, who faced criticism for spreading erroneous information earlier that the accused had been arrested, took to Twitter, saying: “I have just been briefed by @TelanganaDGP Garu that the beast that raped the child has been found and found dead on a train track at Ghanpur station #JusticeForChaithra “

It comes two days after Telangana’s Minister of Labor Malla Reddy claimed the government would catch the accused and meet with him. On the same day, while publishing a descriptive notice on the sex offender, the Hyderabad police announced a reward of Rs 10 lakhs to those helping them arrest the accused fugitive in Hyderabad.
