APSC assistant engineer exam on August 28; 6,220 candidates to appear

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will conduct a written exam for the selection of assistant engineers under public health engineering department on August 28. Assistant engineers will be selected in civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical disciplines.

The Assam Civil Service Commission (APSC) will conduct a written exam on August 28 for the selection of assistant engineers in the Department of Public Health Engineering. Assistant engineers will be selected from civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical disciplines.

A total of 6,220 candidates registered for the exam.

Candidate admission cards will be released on August 22. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download the admission card from the official website of the Commission using their registration information.

On August 20, the Commission will publish the list of selected and rejected applicants on the basis of the submitted application forms.

The exam will take place in two shifts: the first shift will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the exam will take place for the general studies test of that shift; the second shift will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the examination of the discipline of engineering (civil, mechanical and electrical) will take place in this shift.Meanwhile, the Assam civil service preliminaries will be held on September 12. Admission cards of all candidates who had registered for the exam can download the admission cards from 23 August. A total of 331 vacancies will be filled through this phased review. The preliminary examination will take place in 31 districts and the main examination will only take place in Guwahati.
