Amazon miniTV In-App Video Streaming platform launched in India with selected web series, Tech videos, and more

Amazon miniTV has been launched in India as a video streaming platform featuring a range of Web programs, comedy shows, and beauty and beauty videos. A new miniTV video streaming service is available within the Amazon shopping app for Android users. It’s free and it’s ad supported.

The miniTV banner appears on the Amazon app homepage, with a click to take you to the miniTV landing page. This contains content from top YouTube creators such as Ashish Chanchlani, Prajakta Koli, Sejal Kumar, and Malvika Sitlani.

With the announcement of miniTV, This wsbsites is following in the footsteps of its biggest e-commerce rival Flipkart and its in-house video streaming platform, Flipkart Video.

The miniTV video streaming platform is different from Amazon’s Prime Video, mainly because it is cheaper. Prime Video is a unique app available for Prime membership only – it costs Rs. 329 three months and Rs. 999 per year.

In addition, Prime Video provides access to Amazon Originals and other exclusive content. MiniTV, on the other hand, is the master of Web series, comedy shows, tech news, food, beauty and fashion videos that can now be viewed within the Amazon app.

Amazon miniTV video streaming platform is currently available for Amazon app users on Android only. The company says it looks like it will bring the app to the iOS app and the mobile Web in the coming months.

The list of leading Amazon miniTV studios includes TVF, Pocket Aces, and top comedians such as Ashish Chanchlani, Amit Bhadana, Round2Hell, Harsh Beniwal, Shruti Arjun Anand, Elvish Yadav, Prajakta Koli, Swagger Sharma, and Aakash Gupta .

YouTubers such as tech expert Trakin Tech, fashion and beauty experts like Sejal Kumar, Malvika Sitlani, Jovita George, Prerna Chhabra, and ShivShakti are also featured on Amazon miniTV. With food content and recipe, Amazon is watching videos from Kabita’s Kitchen, Cook with Nisha, and Gobble.

E-commerce rival Flipkart also has its own video streaming platform within the system – Flipkart Video. Launched back in 2019, Flipkart Video is also only available within the Flipkart app – like Amazon miniTV. It offers over 5,000 titles, including TV shows, Web series and movies. Available on both Android and iOS apps, Flipkart Video offers content in many languages.
