With the new Zoom Focus mode, students will never be distracted between Zoom classes

The coronavirus has completely changed its way of life. Previously we had classroom boards, now we have Zoom classes with a few people looking at the screen for the better part of their day.

Children often find it difficult to concentrate because there are so many distractions nearby. And not just children but adults as well.

You may hear what is playing on the TV or perhaps lose your focus by watching dogs play outside your window.

To help people and especially kids direct everything through the speaker, Zoom added a new Focus mode to its video conference program.

Zoom Focus mode will not only help kids pay attention but also active people. It can be used by anyone using a video conference app but it can be very helpful for teachers to capture the attention of their students.

Children, however, have a very short time of attention and with the whole lesson from home setup, things must have gotten worse.

So when Focus mode is enabled by teacher, students will only be able to see the teacher and not your classmates.

“Focus Mode allows teachers to see videos of their students, and students see their teachers without seeing other participants in the classroom.

With this feature, teachers can control their classroom, but students will not be distracted by the video feed of their peers or feel confident about turning on their camera, ”Zoom noted in a blog post.

Zoom said Focus mode can be enabled for accounts, groups, or individual users. You can go to the extra button to enable the feature.

It is also useful if you are hosting a webinar or talk show, where you do not want your audience to focus on someone other than the speaker.

People are often distracted during online lectures or webinars, distracted by looking at other participants.

However, if you use it for a group meeting, where everyone needs to talk to everyone, it would not be a good idea if people did not see each other.

This can therefore be avoided during Zoom sessions where there are too many speakers. However, in set-ups, where there is only one speaker, this feature can be very useful.
