Vikas Divyakeerti has told in the first video posted on his YouTube channel that despite being a YouTube channel of Drishti IAS, why did he start a separate YouTube channel under his own name?
What was the need of this channel ?
In the description of the video, he has written, ‘For a long time there was a desire expressed by all of you friends that I should interact with you on a regular basis and make videos especially on the subjects of philosophy, psychology and polity.

what is the purpose of separate youtube channel ?
Vikas Divyakirti said that due to some reasons it had become necessary to start it.
He told that in the last few years short clips of his videos have become quite popular in the online world.
Due to this, even those people who have nothing to do with the IAS exam have come to know him.
He said, ‘Apart from the aspirants preparing for IAS, many such people started contacting him who have nothing to do with IAS but they started saying that we would love to hear from you or would love to hear your views on this subject, someone else. Would like to hear your thoughts on the subject.
Many people have asked about philosophy especially Indian philosophy, about psychology and many other topics and want some way so that we can listen and talk.
Now Drishti IAS has a world of its own, He belongs to the candidates of Civil Services. It is for IAS aspirants. Everything is not a part of IAS syllabus then why to discuss everything there. So for those audiences who are interested in the preparation of IAS or not, I would like to create my own corner in the world of social media where I can share my views. I can put my thoughts on this channel without considering IAS syllabus. Here I can also talk about those issues which I often avoid talking about while teaching.
While teaching, I tell them only as much as is necessary for their examination.
