Uttar Pradesh: For better administrative management and better control of mining operations at Uttar Pradesh, the cabinet approved 52 new posts proposed by the Directorate of Geology and Mines. With the creation of new posts, the way is clear to include them in the Mining Service Manual. Soon the recruitment process for these positions will be launched.
The post of an additional director and a co-director has been increased as part of the restructuring of the posts in the minerals department. So far, only one co-director position has been in the department. Apart from this, 10 new Senior Mining Officer posts have been sanctioned, so far there were five Senior Mining Officer posts. 20 new mining officer positions were also created. There were a total of 32 mine officer positions, now 52 mine officers can be assigned in the state.
Cabinet approves development authority tourism development in five cities:
The State Government has designated the Development Authorities to carry out the works related to the tourism development of the Tourism Department in the important tourist centers of Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Agra. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday. Till now the Development Authority did not get the work done by any other institution. For the first time, the Development Authorities have been designated as the executing agency to get the work done of any other department. The state government believes that this will improve the financial condition of the development authorities and the work will also be done soon. Apart from this, it has also been decided that the centage for these projects will be decided for each project by mutual consent between the concerned development authority and the tourism department. The Chief Minister has been authorized to make a decision on any other matter related to it in the cabinet
