Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on a 2-day visit to Delhi, likely to discuss poll strategy with key BJP leaders

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be in Delhi tonight. The CM is due to meet the Union Minister of the Interior, Amit Shah, at 4 p.m.

After that, CM Adityanath will also meet with trade union ministers and other senior party leaders.

CM Adityanath left Lucknow for Delhi at around 1 p.m. He is due to meet the Union Minister of the Interior and top BJP leader Amit Shah. According to reports, he is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence tomorrow at 11 a.m.

After that, he will also meet with BJP President JP Nadda at 12:30 pm.

Discussions on the upcoming UP Assembly elections are expected to take place alongside discussions on key political developments in the state.

The two-day visit to the nation’s capital comes after Jitin Prasada, a member of the G23 dissidents in Congress, joined the saffron party on Wednesday in the presence of President JP Nadda.

This change is seen as a major shake-up for Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi, as the former Union Minister and two-time MP for Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh was seen as one of the core members of the Congress team. .

In this high-level meeting with Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath will likely discuss the way forward, especially regarding how the work of the state government can be highlighted after corpses sinking in the Ganga River have recently made international headlines.

While Yogi Adityanath is widely supported by party colleagues who praise his work in managing the Covid pandemic, a few MPs and MPs have made public their critical views on the situation in UP.
