UP University Exam 2021: First year students will pass without exams in UP universities and colleges, final year ones will have to give exam, read complete guidelines

The Yogi government on Tuesday issued guidelines regarding the examinations of 41 lakh students of university and colleges of Uttar Pradesh without passing them.

 Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the undergraduate and postgraduate first year candidates will be promoted without examination in the universities and colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

 Whereas the examination of the final year candidates of undergraduate and postgraduate will be conducted by the middle of August.

According to the guidelines, the students of such universities where the first year examinations of undergraduate courses have not been completed, their students will be promoted to the second year and their first year by inclusion on the basis of the marks of their second year examination to be held in the year 2022. Result and marks can be decided.

For undergraduate second year students, it has been said that in universities where the first year examinations were held in the year 2020, the second year results or marks can be decided on the basis of the first year marks and the students will be promoted to the third year. Will be done.

The universities where the candidates were promoted to the second year without examination due to not having the graduation first year examination in 2020, now the examination of the undergraduate second year candidates will be conducted.

 Based on the result of the examination they will be given admission in the third year. 

Let us tell you that these instructions have been issued for Bachelors / Masters (UG, PG) courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law and Agriculture subjects. 

The technical education department will issue separate instructions for engineering and management.

Dr. Dinesh Sharma said in the press conference that where examinations have not been held and there is no record of previous examinations, it has been decided to conduct examinations.

 There will be no practical exams. Practical marks will be given on the basis of written exam marks. Viva will be online. The Vice Chancellors have been given the right to decide what will be the nature of the question papers. 

Dinesh Sharma said that this time the written examination will be of only one hour instead of three hours. After this the results will also be declared by the first week of September. 

Students who are not satisfied with the result of the above mentioned method will be able to appear in the back paper examination to be held in 2022 or the annual/ semester examination to be held in 2022-23. 

They can improve their marks by appearing in these exams. The academic session 2021-2022 will start from September 13.
