Union Minister of education Dharmendra Pradhan will virtually meet with vice-chancellors of 45 central universities on Friday.
According to the Education Ministry, Dharmendra Pradhan has met with vice-chancellors of different universities over the past month, but this will be the education minister’s first formal meeting with vice-chancellors of central universities in a group.
Pradhan will discuss important issues such as the implementation of the 2020 national education policy, measures to fill vacant positions waiting for teachers in the SC / ST categories / OBC and EWS, the celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav”, open and online Education, start of the academic session 2021-22, “the Ministry of Education said.
Pradhan will also chair a meeting with the directors of the ministry’s IITs virtually Friday.
