Dibrugarh University has postponed all undergraduate and postgraduate examinations starting on April 26. The ongoing B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com examinations have been suspended. The revised test schedule has not yet been announced.
The decision to postpone the exams until further notice was taken due to rising COVID-19 cases. The university has put many other restrictions on campus as a result of the epidemic. Guest access is restricted on campus. All kinds of gatherings, college-approved gatherings including cultural activities, sports among others. Students with postponed exams have been asked to leave the hostels.
With the exception of officials, only 50 percent of employees will be in the office at any one time. Employees will be called in rotation. Pregnant women and women workers with children five years of age or younger, regardless of age, have been asked to work from home, within certain reasonable limits.
