The examination will take place on November 20 and 21 for the selection of assistant geologist in the department of geology and mining, assistant geologist in the department of public works and assistant geologist in the department of agricultural engineering. A total of 26 vacancies will be filled in the Tamil Nadu subordinate geology and mining service, Tamil Nadu engineering subordinate service and Tamil Nadu agricultural engineering subordinate service.
Applicants with a master’s degree in geology or a diploma in geology or a master’s degree in applied geology or a master’s degree in hydrogeology are eligible for the exam.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam and an oral test. The review will only take place in Chennai, the Commission said.
