As for the offices, permission was given by the government to continue working, but the Deputy Minister said it was a decision of the people whether they wanted to go or not.

“They are their choice. We cannot force anyone to come to the office. The only thing is that we need to allow them to work wherever they want,” he said.

“This is the way forward, from the living world to the material world,” concluded Ashwathnarayan.

According to the Union Department of Health, Karnataka has 1,16,473 active cases of COVID-19.
