The timeline for the launch of the Oppo’s Pad and the price in India has been leaked

The Oppo’s Pad, the company’s first and only tablet, is likely to arrive in India soon. If a new report is something to go by, the launch of the tablet in India is possible in June or July.

The Oppo Pad, however, may not be an affordable option, unlike the Realme Pad. Its price in India could be between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 – making the Oppo Pad a rival between the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and the standard Apple iPad.

Tipster Mukul Sharma said the launch of the Oppo Pad in India could take place by the end of June, which means more than a month to go. Oppo launched the tablet earlier in China in February and it has not been available anywhere since now.

The Oppo Pad uses advanced specifications, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, and comes with support for the Oppo Pencil stylus. Oppo still has to confirm its plan for the launch of the Oppo Pad in India.

The price tag of Rs 25,000 Oppo Pad is in line with other existing company products, but, at the same time, it could be bad news for people looking for another affordable tablet. For example, brands such as Realme, Nokia, and Motorola sell Indian tablets for less than Rs 20,000.

The Chinese price for the Oppo Pad is CNY 2,299, which means about Rs 27,500. This means that the rumored price range of the Oppo Pad could be fair.

The timeline for the launch of the Oppo’s Pad

The Oppo Pad comes with an 11-inch LCD with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a resolution of 120Hz, a touch rate of 120Hz, and a pixel density and support for HDR10.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor compatible with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

This is a modified version of the Snapdragon 865 processor that was the 2020 flagship processor for Android phones. That means the Oppo Pad should be able to handle heavy tasks.

You get an 8-megapixel camera on the front and it should be good enough for you to take pictures with video calls. Behind the Oppo Pad, there is a 13-megapixel camera attached to the LED light.

The Oppo Pad has four speakers, one on each side, tuned by Dolby Atmos and compatible with Hi-Res support. The Oppo Pad comes with an 8360mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, as well as wireless charging.

This tablet also supports stylus input, but Oppo Pencil is the only company that works with it. The company says the stylus can provide 13 hours of work for a single charge. The stylus is charged separately.
