OnePlus 9RT Captured Comes With Snapdragon 888 Chipset, 50-Megapixel Camera, More

OnePlus will not be bringing the OnePlus 9T this year. However, the company is rumored to be preparing for the launch of the OnePlus 9RT, and now the details of the said smartphone have also been revealed.

The OnePlus 9RT is proven to come with 65W fast charging, 50-megapixel main camera, 120Hz display, and more. The OnePlus 9RT is set to launch in India and China later this month, and may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series chipset.

The OnePlus 9RT Joint Edition is also said to be in the works. Let’s take a look at all the specifics about the OnePlus smartphone mentioned:

According to a tipster on the Chinese site for small blog Weibo, the rumored OnePlus 9RT is said to be running on Android 11 and ColorOS 12 above and will feature a full HD + display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The smartphone may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, according to a recent teaser. The smartphone was previously said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Depending on the camera, the smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766 shooter, similar to the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The smartphone also comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.

Tipster also mentions that the OnePlus 9RT’s features a 4,500mAh battery that will support up to 65W fast charging – this is similar to the OnePlus 9R.

Earlier, Geekbench’s list of OnePlus MT2110 smartphones was named the OnePlus 9RT. The list showed that the smartphone will come with Android 11 and will have 12GB of RAM.

Geekbench’s list also suggests that the OnePlus smartphone will come with a motherboard called “Lahaina” – the code name for Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

Apart from this, another variant of the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. This is reportedly the “OnePlus 9RT Joint Edition” which can be launched only in China. The OnePlus 9RT’s is set to launch on October 15, according to reports.
