Telangana State Council of Higher Education: All Exams Postponed in Telangana due to rise in COVID-19 cases.

Telangana: All ongoing and scheduled graduate, PG, and other undergraduate courses in Telangana universities have been postponed following the temporary closure of educational institutions due to an increase in daily COVID-19 cases in government, authorities said Wednesday. The revised plan will be announced later, said Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) chief executive officer.

The Telangana government on Tuesday announced that educational institutions would be temporarily closed from Wednesday. Online classes would be offered to prevent the spread of coronavirus following new outbreaks in recent days, including some schools. Earlier, notices were issued that continuous supplementary / standardized examinations for all UG and PG courses would be conducted per schedule.

Most universities and educational institutions are closed from the middle of March 2020. Colleges are allowed to open in a manner consistent with the standards between the strict monitoring of COVID. According to government guidelines, students can only visit the campuses voluntarily. Since last year, classes have been held almost as part of COVID-19 prevention measures
