Sonu Nigam, who has been judging the past seasons of Indian Idol, released a video on Instagram in which he asked the show’s creators to end the controversy and stop abusing Amit Kumar’s peace.

Viewers criticized the judges and contestants for not doing justice to Kishore Kumar’s songs. After her statement, Aditya Narayan, host of Indian Idol 12 and songwriter Manoj Muntashir came out in support of the show.
“No one can do justice to the songs of Kishore Kumar. His son Amit Kumar is a good man and has seen the industry more than we do. He is a very quiet and dignified person. He says nothing and misuses this. I want to tell the Indian Idol team to end this controversy.
Sonu also gave her two cents to Manoj Munstashir and Aditya Narayan who defended the match against Amit Kumar’s comments. The singer said one should deal with criticism of an older person in a healthy way instead of getting upset.
He said, “I want to tell Manoj Muntashir and Aditya not to say anything about Amit Kumar. He is an elder, and we should respect that person. when an adult criticizes you, don’t get angry, think about where you went and improve yourself. ”
“Leave Amit Kumar Ji alone,” added Sonu Nigam and complimented Indian Idol 12 competitors.
Kumar Sanu, who was also a guest judge on Indian Idol 12 agreed with everything Sonu Nigam shared and commented on his video, “You are so good Sonu! I said the same thing in an interview yesterday. I have a lot of respect for Amit and no one can sing like Kishore Da. I-Bachche kya bade nahi ga pate unki tarah. She is a great inspiration to everyone 🙏 Amit da is a great artist and deserves only respect! ”
Sonu also received the support of Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Mika Singh as they agree with everything she says. “You’re right Sonu 👍 I’m coming for the first time to @ indian.idol 2021 this week. love and respect for Amit Dada ”Abhijeet commented on Sonya’s text. Micah added, “You’re right brother.”
