Sisodia was speaking here during a Cluster Leadership Development Program (CLDP) organized for the “professional development and improvement of leadership skills” of principals of public schools in Delhi.

“Schools must expand their role in making education a mass movement and school leaders must now play the role of education leaders and involve the community with the school so that the learning environment is not limited to the school wall, ”Sisodia said. by an official declaration from the office of the deputy CM.

He said there was a need for school leaders to give a new dimension to education in Delhi “by sharing among themselves the experiences and best practices of their schools”.

Speaking about CLDP, Sisodia said it has helped create an environment for leadership in education.

“The CLDP has made a significant contribution to the creation of a better education ecosystem. It has taken education to new heights, but now there is a need to work beyond. Now the CLDP needs to be redesigned. The CLDP is no longer confined to a simple group of schools, but must come out and engage with the community, ”he said.The CLDP provides a platform for school leaders to interact with their peers in school management, day-to-day schooling, through mutual discussion, the statement said.
