Samsung Working To Resolve WhatsApp Media Sharing Issue In Dual Messenger: Report

Samsung users who use two WhatsApp accounts on their Galaxy smartphones using the Dual Messenger feature are reported to be experiencing many problems.

Samsung is now said to be working on repairs. Dual Messenger allows users to use two different accounts for apps like Snapchat and WhatsApp, etc.

On a Galaxy smartphone. Many users have been reporting problems by opening and sending media to the same WhatsApp type on their phones.

Samsung reportedly said it would issue a correction in the upcoming update.

A SamMobile report quotes Samsung as saying it works to fix a problem where users fail to open WhatsApp-registered media using its Dual Messenger.

Users also cannot send saved media. This problem is said to continue with the WhatsApp version 2.21.10.16 (or later).

Until the update comes, users have been advised by Samsung to transfer the media they receive from their Dual Messenger WhatsApp to their main WhatsApp and open it from there.

By sending media, users are advised to send files through the gallery or My Files program and share them by selecting Dual Messenger WhatsApp.

You can use Samsung’s Dual Messenger by going to Settings> Advanced Features> Dual Messenger. Follow these steps to activate two WhatsApp accounts on your Samsung phone.
