Relief news for railway passengers!

railway- Platform ticket prices: A lot has changed in the country since the beginning of the Corona epidemic. In 2020, it happened for the first time that railway works were completely stopped. After that, the unlocking process started slowly. To control the crowd at the station, the railways have multiplied by 3 the price of the platform ticket. Quayside ticket price from Rs 10 has been reduced to Rs 30. But, now Indian Railways Ahmedabad division has decided that platform ticket will be charged at Rs 10 as before. In some stations in the country, the platform ticket price has also been increased to Rs 50.

Be aware that the DRM of Ahmedabad has put in place
this rule from 7 April. In posting a notice about it, it was said that in view of the rise in corona cases, the railways had previously decided that from 18th January 2022 the platform ticket price would increase from Rs 10 to Rs 30. Now this has been returned to Rs.10. Now, round trip ticket at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Palanpur, Mehsana, Bhuj, Maninagar and Sabarmati railway stations has been reduced to Rs.10.

Central Railway has also reduced fees
Let us tell you that last year Central Railway also reduced the platform ticket price. It has been reduced from Rs 50 to Rs 10. With this, at LTT, Thane, Kalyan, CSMT, Dadar and Panvel stations, people now only have to pay Rs 10 for platform tickets.
