Registration for JNU Winter Semester 2021 Arrested Due to Covid-19

Jawahar Lal Nehru University (Jawaharlal_Nehru_University) has held the Winter Semester registration until May 16, 2021, due to covid 19 Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) has announced that it will postpone registration for the Winter Semester until May 16 due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The matter will be reviewed and in mid-May before the completion of the new dates, JNU management notifies all administrators and professors with special notice. Schools, institutions, and specialized institutions will continue with online classes for now. The notice taught that students with their “end-of-year exams have been completed and would like to continue teaching online next semester in relation to these students awaiting enrollment, which can be completed in time to improve the situation.”

JNU has suspended for the second time the Winter Semester registration process. The university had said it would begin the application process on May 8.

Meanwhile, in a recent circular, JNU issued guidelines regarding the administration of the COVID vaccine to its CGHS beneficiaries. The May 7 round went to the Vice-Chancellors / Rectors, Dean, C.M.O. (SAG), Health Center, and Director of CIS, note that CGHS beneficiaries can sign up for the CoWin Covid-19 vaccine application.

The university urged the beneficiaries to follow the guidelines as prescribed by the government. It also said that after registration, one can transfer the name of the CVC

(Covid Vaccination Center) where they would like to be vaccinated. It also issued a step-by-step guide to vaccine registration.
