Raj Kundra Porn Case: Shilpa Shetty Tells Mumbai Police ‘She Was Too Busy So Unaware Of Her Husband’s Porn Activity’

Raj Kundra Porn Case: Shilpa Shetty further stated that Raj Kundra had launched Viaan Industries Ltd around April 2015 and she was on the board till July 2020 when she quit owing to personal reasons.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has informed Mumbai police that she remains too attached to her job to know about porn applications or other activities of her husband Raj Kundra – who is in the custody of the porn racketeering case.

Shilpa further stated that Kundra started Viaan Industries Ltd around April 2015 and that she was a member of the board of directors until July 2020 when she stepped down for personal reasons as stated in the act of charges filed by the police on Wednesday against Kundra and his partner Ryan Thorpe.

According to the police investigation, Kundra allegedly used his company’s Mumbai offices to handle the day-to-day operations of the sleazy content racketeering and uploading it through the HotShots and Bollyfame apps for paid viewers.

Meanwhile, the crime branch of the Mumbai police on Wednesday filed a voluminous additional indictment in the pornography case against businessman Raj Kundra.

Kundra, 45, was arrested on July 19 in the sensational case in which there are several other defendants, and the approximately 1,500-page indictment has been filed in a Mumbai district court.

The nearly 1,500-page indictment also contains details of the investigations and evidence gathered against the 11 defendants arrested to date, as well as two other defendants wanted in the same case, Kundra’s brother-in-law, Sandeep Bakshi, and Yash Thakur – to show how all the paid sleaze content racket was running.

Police in their raid on Kundra’s homes on July 23 and Viaan’s offices in Andheri on July 24, seized offending documents, laptops, portable hard drives, and also recovered a laptop from Thorpe.

All electronic devices have been subjected to various forensic tests to gather additional evidence regarding the sensational case.

In addition to Shilpa, the police recorded the depositions, some before a magistrate, of at least 42 other witnesses, including models, film and television actresses, against Kundra and Thorpe.
