The Oppo A16 was launched in Indonesia as a budget-friendly offering following the Oppo A15 from October last year. The phone has small side bezels and a thick chin.
Comes with a disconnected display and a triple camera setting. The Oppo A16 is offered in three colors and one RAM + resolution.
The phone packs a large 5,000mAh battery and features Super Nighttime standby mode to reduce power consumption.

The Oppo A16 is priced at IDR 1,999,000 (approximately Rs. 10,300) for the final 3GB + 32GB model. Offered in Crystal Black, Pearl Blue, and Space Silver.
The phone is for sale in Indonesia and Oppo has not yet shared any information on international availability.
Details of the Oppo A16
Oppo A16 runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1. It features a 6.52-inch HD + (720×1,600 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 60Hz, a 60Hz sample touch rate, 269ppi pixels, and a maximum brightness of 480 values.
It has a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7% and an average of 1,500: 1. Under the hood, the Oppo A16 packs a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, paired with IMG GE8320 GPU, 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and storage of 32GB MMC 5.1 expandable MicroSD card.
For photos and videos, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setting that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor with f / 2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixe mono sensor with f / 2.4 lens.
Previously, the Oppo A16 had an 8-megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 lens for selfies and video calls.
Connecting options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C charging port. Sensors on the Oppo A16 board include a geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gravity sensor.
There is a stand-alone fingerprint scanner and face opening support. The phone is supported by a 5,000mAh battery. The Oppo A16 measures 163.8×75.6×8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
