The launch date for the OnePlus Nord 2T India has been confirmed. The new OnePlus smartphone will be launched soon in India with some updates, yet more important than the Nord 2.
OnePlus will have a new launch event on May 19, when the company is expected to launch the Nord 2T.
OnePlus has confirmed the launch via its YouTube channel, which has confirmed the launch date. The video does not explicitly state any details about the device launch on May 19.
However, based on the recent launch and updates of the rumor mill, it is safe to say that the Nord 2T will launch in India on May 19.
The OnePlus Nord 2T was launched earlier this month in Nepal. Comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz resolution and Full HD + resolution. There is a hole-punch cutout in the upper left corner of the front camera.
Nord 2T comes with MediaTek Dimension 1300 SoC. The world’s first smartphone to launch with the new MediaTek chipset. The SoC is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. No MicroSD card support or 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone has a 4500 mAh battery. Comes with an improved 80W speed charger in addition to the Nord 2’s 65W fast charging. It runs Android 12-based Oxygen OS 12 out of the box.
In the background, the phone has three camera settings. There is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor supported by image stabilization (OIS).
Compatible with 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP monochrome sensor. For your photos and video calls, the Nord 2T has a 32MP front camera sensor.
In terms of price, the Nord 2T was introduced in Nepal with NPR 64,999, which is about Rs 40,600. We can expect the price of the device in India to be lower. With the price of the OnePlus 10R in India starting at Rs 38,999, we can expect the Nord 2T to lower it by another margin.
