Motorola Edge 30 with Snapdragon 778+ 5G launched in India, priced at Rs 27,999

Motorola has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Motorola Edge 30 in India. The smartphone follows the Motorola Edge 20, launched last year as a cut-out version of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro.

The Motorola’s Edge 30 is considered to be the smallest phone on the market. In addition to its slim profile, the Motorola Edge 30 comes with many features including India’s first Snapdragon 778+ 5G, 144Hz OLED display, 40-megapixel quad technology and 4020mAh battery backed by fast charging which is 33W.

The Motorola’s Edge 30 belongs to the latest mid-range company full of phones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Samsung Realme and more. The Motorola Edge 30 will compete with the Samsung M53, Vivo T1 Pro 5G, IQOO z6 and many more presented with similar specs. Motorola Edge 30: Price in India


The Motorola’s Edge 30 was launched for the first price of Rs 27,999 in India in the form of 6GB + 128GB. Unlike the 8GB + 256GB, the device costs Rs 29,999.

However, first-time buyers can get a discount of Rs 2000 on phones that effectively reduce the price to Rs 25,999 for the 6GB variant and Rs 27,999 for the 8GB variant.

The smartphone is offered in two color options and will go on sale from May 19, 12 pm onwards at Flipkart and Reliance Digital stores.

The Motorola’s Edge 30 features a 6.7-inch OLED display supported by a 144hz frequency update. The display is also good for HDR10 +, DC-Dimming and comes with a fingerprint reader on the display.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ 5G with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.

In the camera department, the Motorola Edge 30 features a 50-megapixel quad camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a large 50-megapixel sensor that doubles as an ultra-wide lens. There is a 32-megapixel on the front of the photos you took.

The Motorola’s Edge 30 runs Android 12 with an immersive Android stock experience. Comes with certified updates for Android 13 and 14 plus security for 3 years.

The smartphone has a 4020mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging. For connectivity, the Motorola Edge 30 comes with support for 13 5G bands, WiFi 6E, 3 Carrier Aggregation, 4X4 MIMO special data speed and seamless communication.
