OnePlus 9R Getting OxygenOS Update 11.2.3.3 Hotfix in India With Battery Drain Fix

The OnePlus 9R gets an OxygenOS update that brings the hotfix of the battery discharge problem introduced by a previous update.

The latest OxygenOS version of the cheapest smartphone in the OnePlus 9 series has resulted in an unusual battery discharge of the smartphone.

The OnePlus 9R OxygenOS 11.2.1.2 update was released in India last month and came connected to an Android security clip in May 2021 with camera, gallery and system upgrades.

OnePlus also recently upgraded the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro with a May 2021 safety episode with the OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 update.

Announcing hotfix in a post at its Public Forum, OnePlus said it had fixed an unusual battery drain problem caused by a previous review of OnePlus 9R.

The new details of the OxygenOS 11.2.3.3 smartphone update will now reduce power consumption in some cases. The changelog also talks about fixing ‘known news for a better experience’.

The Oneflus 9R hotfix update is affecting users who have upgraded their devices to OxygenOS 11.2.1.2 last month.

Although you will receive a notification when an update arrives on your device, you can manually update your mobile calls by going to Settings> System> System Update> Download and Install.

Updates are not included with any Android security patch and are at a size of 106MB, as posted by the user in the community forum.

As always, the OnePlus 9R update will be released in an incremental way starting with a limited number of users and will have a wide release soon.

The OnePlus 9R, launched in March 2021, runs the OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.

The sports smartphone features a 6.5-inch full HD + OLED display with a refreshing 120Hz rating.

Powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The quad rear camera on the OnePlus 9R is powered by a 48-megapixel main sensor.

Other sensors include a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

Selfies and video calls are powered by a 16-megapixel sensor. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports the fast charging of Warp Charge 65.
