Launch of Asus ZenFone 8 Series India Guaranteed, Can Be Called Asus 8Z

Asus 8Z is unable to launch the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip with the same name in India as the Zen and ZenMobile trademarks are owned by a different company in the country.

Asus ZenFone 8 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip India launched now confirmed. These two phones are designed to introduce to the Indian market like the Asus 8Z and Asus 8Z Flip.

The Asus India website landing page is now live, which includes the provision and specification of upcoming phones. Asus is unable to introduce ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip with the same name in the Indian market as Zen and ZenMobile trademarks are owned by a different company in the country.

The landing page of the Asus India company does not reveal the names of the next two phones, but the offers and specifications on the list indicate that the Asus ZenFone 8 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip will be launched in India soon.

The exact launch date is not specified but the ‘Notify’ button is already live. The two phones were launched worldwide earlier this month and are expected to be launched in India soon, despite having different names thought to be – Asus 8Z and Asus 8Z Flip.

In terms of price, the global Asus ZenFone 8 starts at EUR 599 (approximately Rs. 53,200) and the price of ZenFone 8 Flip starts at EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 71,000). Both calls must be made at the same price in the Indian market.

We already know the details of the Asus ZenFone 8 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip in their worldwide release. Although the names may be changed on the Asus 8Z and Asus 8Z Flip, respectively, the details may remain the same. Two phones should work on Android 11 with ZenUI 8 and above.

Asus ZenFone 8 features 5.9-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) 120Hz Samsung AMOLED display, while Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features 6.67-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels ) 90Hz Samsung AMOLED display. Two phones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoCs paired with 8GB of RAM in the Flip model up to 16GB of RAM in Flip variant. Two phones come with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For photos and videos, the Asus ZenFone 8 offers two dual rear camera settings that feature a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 second sensor. For selfies and videos, the Asus ZenFone 8 has a 12-megapixel camera Sony IMX663 camera.

Asus has offered a three-round camera setup on the ZenFone 8 Flip that includes a slow-moving car and an angle sensor for direct effects. The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main sensor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX 363 second sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter that contains 3x zoom. The rotating camera doubles as a selfie camera.

The ZenFone 8 packs a 4,000mAh battery, while the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip packs a 5,000mAh battery. Both support Quick Charge 4.0 and power delivery levels. Telephone communication options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 / 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS / A-GPS / NavIC, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type -C.

There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the ZenFone 8 model. There is also a fingerprint sensor on both phones. Asus has provided a triple microphone with the OZO Audio Zoom and its audio reduction technology in both houses which aims to improve audio recording on ZenFone 8 models. There are also two stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound.
