OnePlus 9R Can Be Launched In China Instantly, Bought To Be Cheaper Than Indian Variant

The OnePlus 9R could be launched soon in China and could cost less than the Indian variant. The development was shared with a well-known tipster on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Watch series in India last month.

The series includes the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R. While the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are available in other markets outside of India, the OnePlus 9R seems to be unique in the country only. But that could soon change.

The OnePlus 9R is the least expensive of the three phones and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station (translated) on Weibo, the OnePlus 9R will be launched soon in China. The OnePlus 9R is yet to be sold in India and the first sale will begin on April 14.

In addition, tipster shared that the OnePlus 9R Chinese variant will cost less than 3,000 CNY (approximately Rs. 34,000). This means it can be more expensive than the Indian variant as the 8GB + 128GB storage model costs Rs. 39,999 approximately CNY 3,500. The final 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 43,999 almost CNY 3,900. It is not clear which tipster was mentioned.

As of now, OnePlus has not shared any information on China’s launch of the OnePlus 9R.
