Nikon Z FC Retro Camera With Retro Design, Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) Lens Launched in India

Nikon Z FC DX mirrorless retro-design camera has been introduced in India. The camera design has been inspired by the Nikon FM2 SLR since the 1980s and has a mature Nikon logo.

Like its Nikon Z50, the Nikon Z FC is based on the Z-mount system and has a 20.9-megapixel sensor among other features. Nikon Z FC offers three dedicated dials for manual adjustment while taking photos and videos. The camera also has a flexible LCD touch screen screen.

Nikon Z FC is available for purchase on Nikon’s website. The price of Nikon Z FC in India starts at Rs. 84,995 camera just. When purchased with a Nikkor Z DX-16 50mm f / 3.5-6.3 VR lens, it costs Rs. 97,995 and with Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) it costs Rs. 1,05,995 in India.

Customers can purchase a mirrorless camera at Nikon authorized stores from the last week of July 2021. The camera has a silver matte body and leather material.

The leather section will be available with six color options – Amber Brown, Coral Pink, Mint Green, Natural Gray, Sand Beige, and White.

Nikon Z FC without glasses features a fixed 20.9-megapixel primary APS-C (DX) sensor. It has a used image processor with Expeed 6 and has a standard ISO range of 100-51,200. It comes with a NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f / 3.5-6.3 VR lens, but can also be purchased without a lens.

The camera features a TFT LCD flexible touch screen display to make shooting from the wrong angles easier. It has three shutter speed control calls, exposure configuration and ISO sensitivity.

As well as dialing, there is a small window that shows opening. The camera supports USB power delivery and USB charging. The camera supports 4K UHD video recording using its full DX-based sensor range and setting of slow motion movies.

The Nikon Z FC camera supports the display format during Auto mode, making it the first camera in the Z series to detect a feature. It means users can control brightness and other settings even in Auto mode.

The camera also has 20 Image Control effects. Nikon Z FC has Eye-Detection AutoFocus (AF) and Animal-Detection AF while still shooting stills and videos.

On the side, it also supports a wide range of AF (L) AF-area to help better visualize the eyes and face.

There is also support for the SnapBridge v2.8 app that helps transfer media from camera to Android or iOS devices. The camera can also be doubled as a webcam to use for live streaming.

Nikon says the F and C in the Mon Zer moniker represent ‘Fusion’ and ‘Normal’ and refer to the model models from the camera.

Separately, Nikon also announced the release of the Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) lens. The SE moniker stands for ‘Special Edition.’ The lens is compatible with Nikon cameras fitted with Z-mount.

The wide lens design goes back to the removed lenses and the Nikon FM2 SLR camera. Fixed length camera lens has a focus distance of at least 0.19m or 0.63 feet.

It is also extremely portable with a length of 43mm and a weight of 160 grams. The independent price of the Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) lens will still be calculated.
