NEET UG 2022 Candidates Protest on Doctors Day; Understand Their Demands

NEET UG 2022: In a few weeks, the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 will take place. Future doctors and NEET candidates are perplexed since they have little time to prepare for the medical entrance exam. In honor of Doctor’s Day, the candidates have also organized a candlelight protest tonight calling for the postponement of NEET 2022.

According to the candidates, the timing of the CUET and JEE Main makes exam preparation challenging. Additionally, some who failed to pass the NEET 2021 counselling claim that it concluded too late, giving them little time to study for the once-a-year exam. Additionally, the students have used a number of social media sites to voice their concerns. NEET 2022 applicants are currently using the hashtag #RemoveDharmendraPradhan on Twitter.

If #NEET is not postponed, remember Dharmendra Pradhan, the BJP, and Narendra Modi. I will never cast a vote for the BJP again in my life “one of the Twitter users stated. Another person wrote, “Today is doctors’ day. Be unified and ask the government to postpone; they might do so… #MODIJIextendNEETUG #delayNEETUG2022, “while discussing the candle march that will take place at India Gate at 7:30 tonight.

The students have been asking for a 40–60 day postponement. They have emphasised that a postponement of the exam would not have an impact on the new session because the academic year doesn’t start until February of the following year. Instead of setting aside six months for counselling, it should be postponed. Over 10,000 candidates had previously written the National Testing Agency (NTA) with a list of demands. They stated that the CUET exam, which is required for admission to UG programmes at several central universities, including DU and JNU, would also take place in July.
