NEET PG 2022: Aspirants to file PIL in SC demanding postponement of exams

National Eligibility with Entrance Test, Postgraduate or NEET PG 2022 Deferral requests has been raised by aspirants on social media since the announcement of the exam dates. As scheduled by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the exam will take place on March 12, 2022. The disgruntled students are now preparing to file a PIL in the Supreme Court. Students will do this as they are unhappy with the exam dates clashing with NEET PG Counseling 2021.

The postponement of National Eligibility with Entrance Test PG 2022 was even supported by various stakeholders. They felt that NBE should consider it because the demand is real. MP S. Venkatesan has also written to Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya asking for the postponement of this upcoming review.

NEET PG 2022 Postponement: Update

The students are now preparing to file a PIL in the Supreme Court as the dates collide. They are asking for a postponement of NEET PG 2022 for at least one month. The PIL will request that NEET PG 2022 not take place until after the counseling is completed. According to a media organization, the process of filing this PIL is almost complete and a final confirmation slip can be expected within a day or two. Once received, the issue of the postponement of NEET PG 2022 should be considered by the Supreme Court.

NEET PG Counseling 2021: MCC Allows Applicants to Attend Colleges in Hybrid Mode

As a result of the COVID pandemic, postgraduate medical aspirants seeking admission to the MD and MS seats for the Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) will now be permitted to attend their respective colleges in hybrid mode. Applicants who have been assigned seats in NEET PG Counseling 2021 can apply for the assigned college in both online and offline mode.

The first round merit list for NEET PG Counseling 2021 was declared on January 22nd and shortlisted candidates will be able to apply for college admissions between January 23rd and January 28th, 2022. However, candidates applying for an update level to MCC NEET PG Counseling Round 2 while retaining their seat in Round 1 will need to be physically present at the assigned institute to freeze their seats, MCC advised in an official statement.

Applicants should take note that all admissions made through the online mode will be considered provisional and will only be finalized after the round of verification where aspirants must be physically flagged at the time of college medical fitness.
