NEET 2021: Know the MBBS consultancy process

MBBS consultancy is done on the basis of the NEET 2021 ranks. Candidates should check the official website of MCC for details regarding this.

Admissions to all MBBS and Dental course places are based on NEET 2021 score. Admissions are under various quotas: all quota seats in India, state government quota seats, central institutions / reputable universities / universities, state / management / NRI quota seats in private medical / dental colleges or any private university, central pool quota seats, all seats, including NRI quota as well as management quota, in unaided / assisted private medical colleges for minorities / non-minorities and AIIMS institutes across India / JIPMER.

The Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) conducts MBBS admissions for seats under the entire Indian quota, which includes 15% of seats and 85% of central institutions state quota seats (ABVIMS & RML Hospital / VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital / ESIC) / Central universities (including DU / BHU / AMU) / AIIMS / JIPMER and reputable universities.

“For all institutions where counseling is provided by the MCC under the DGHS, applicants may refer to the counseling program uploaded on the MCC website, to determine their eligibility to appear in the counseling for subsequent rounds. , including with regard to ineligibility for account of the allocation of seats in previous cycles of advice in terms of Regulation 5A (4) of the Regulation on Higher Medical Education, 1997 (Annex-F) which provides for the prevention of blocking of seats in the joint board for admission to the MBBS course, ”the NTA said.

The consultation process will take place online. Applicants can find counseling details at https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/.

It has been suggested that applicants do not change their registration information until the end of the counseling, as the same data will be pre-populated in the MCC registration form during counseling as submitted in the NTA registration form.

This year, the NEET 2021 registration form was divided into two parts. The first part of the registration took place before the exam and the second part of the registration will take place after the announcement of the result.
