Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s birthday: Sarfarosh went to Munna Bhai MBBS, seven films where you did not see the actor

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is celebrating his 47th birthday today. At this event, we look back at his games before he shot the famous Bollywood actor.

The first screen appearance of Nakazuddin Siddiqui was in Sarfarosh (1999) where he played terrorism. As the saying goes, a one-night standoff takes about ten years. It can be used to tell the story of Nakazuddin Siddiqui, who had to face years of rejection and struggle before appearing as Bollywood’s go-to powerhouse actor.

In front of the Wasseypur Gangs and Black Friday, before Kahaeni and The Lunchbox, there were Sarfarosh and School, Muna Bhai MBBS, and Mudda, where Nakazuddin was spotted in a glittering light as you waited for his big break. It came in the early 2000s with films like Black Friday and Peepli Live. The breakthrough, of course, was Anurag Kashyap’s iconic Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) that not only changed his life but also the film industry as well.

We are known for the praise and tribute of Nakaz in films including Talaash, The Lunchbox, Badlapur, Raman Raghav, Manjhi, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Raees, Manto, Thackeray, Photograph, and the recent releases of Raat Akeli Hai and the Serious Men. But there are a number of films he made before his fame, which proves that this passing of the National School of Drama was always there, just that this Bollywood failed to get his attention.

As Naazuddin Siddiqui turns 47 today, we look back on lesser-known games and cameos he made, after his first appearance on screen in 1999.
