The launch of the Vivo Y53s in India is set for Monday, August 9, a Chinese company has confirmed the Gadget 360. The Vivo smartphone first arrived in Vietnam last month.
It comes with features that include a waterdrop style notch, and triple rear cameras.
The Vivo Y53s also include a 64-megapixel main camera and 128GB internal storage.
In addition to the basic model, the Vivo has a 5G variant of the Y53, but the company is not expected to launch this model in India right now, sticking to the 4G option.
On Friday, Vivo India confirmed the launch date for the Vivo Y53s on Gadget 360. It was first reported by Moneycontrol citing anonymous sources.
Price for Vivo Y53s in India (expected)
While official details are yet to be revealed, the price of the Vivo Y53s in India is reportedly set at Rs. 22,990 (Rs. 19,490 MOP) of 8GB RAM + 128GB separate storage.
The smartphone is also said to have Deep Sea Blue color options and Fantastic Rainbow.

The Vivo Y53’s were launched in Vietnam with VND 6,990,000 (approximately Rs. 22,500) with the same option of 6GB + 128GB.
Details of Vivo Y53s
According to the data provided during the launch of Vietnam, the dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y53’s running on Funtouch OS 11.1 are based on Android 11 and include a 6.58-inch full-HD + display (1,080×2,400 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60Hz and 20: 9 aspect ratio.
The phone is powered by the octa-core octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, which is compatible with 8GB of RAM.
It comes with a three-rear camera setting that carries a 64-megapixel main sensor, as well as a 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel sensor sensor.
The Vivo Y53’s have a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
In addition, it offers 128GB of internal storage and connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and a USB Type-C port. There is also a fingerprint sensor set aside.
The Vivo has delivered a 5,000mAh battery to the Y53s supporting 33W fast charging. The phone weighs 190 grams.
