ICC Test Rankings- Indian star Ravindra Jadeja has once again become the best all-around player in the ICC Test ranking. The ICC gave this information on Wednesday. In this list, Jason Holder of the West Indies is number 2 and Ravichandran Ashwin remains number three.
Jadeja put in a terrific performance with ball and bat in the Test series against Sri Lanka. He scored an unbeaten 175 in the first game, while taking 9 wickets. India did not make any significant gains in the ICC Test Batting Rating.
Rohit Sharma is at number 7, Virat Kohli is at number 9 and Rishabh Pant is at number 10. Australian Marnus Labuschagne tops the list of batsmen, followed by England captain Joe Root.
Speaking of bowlers, Australian player Pat Cummins is number 1 in the ICC test rankings. While Indian Ravichandran Ashwin and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remain at the second and fourth positions in the list of bowlers.
South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada jumped five places to reach the top 10 in the bowling rankings. In the bowling list, Shaheen Afridi from Pakistan dropped one spot to number six.
Apart from that, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc moved up a spot to reach number 15.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam benefited the most from the Batters’ Test ranking. Babar Azam moved up three places to fifth in the latest ICC Test Rankings for Batsmen released on Wednesday due to the best innings of his cricketing career against Australia.
Babar is the only Pakistani player in the top 10 batsmen. Pakistani Mohammad Rizwan and Australian Usman Khawaja also made big leaps. Rizwan moved up six places to become number 11 with Australian David Warner. While Usman Khawaja jumped 11 places to number 13.
