Infosys founder SD Shibulal buys company shares worth Rs 100 crore

Infosys founder S D Shibulal on Wednesday bought shares worth Rs 100 crore for major IT through open market transactions. Shibulal bought more than 7.58 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,317.95 each, taking the total transaction amount to Rs million crore, according to the latest BSE transaction data.

With the deal, Shibulal’s shares in the company increased to 0.07 percent, according to Infosys’s file-based compliance. At the end of March, Shibulal held 0.05 percent in the company.
In a separate settlement, Shibulal’s wife, Kumari, sold more than 7.58 lakhs of shares on Wednesday for the same price of Rs 1,317.95 each. Post made, his share allocation dropped to 0.19 percent from 0.21 percent.

On Wednesday, shares of Infosys closed the flat for Rs 1,326.95 each on BSE.
