India records 18,987 Covid cases in the past 24 hours, the lowest number of active cases in 215 days

Corona cases update: India has seen a slight increase in daily Covid cases as the country recorded 18,987 new cases in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate is currently 98.07%, which is the highest since March 2020.

The country recorded 19,808 recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,333 62,709

Active cases represent less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.61%, which is the lowest since March 2020

Kerala reported an increase in Covid cases on Wednesday as the state recorded 11,079 new cases and 123 deaths in the past 24 hours. The daily spike in cases brought the total number of cases to 48 20,698 and deaths to 26,571.
