India on Monday registered a sharp drop in new cases of coronavirus as the country contracted 3,66,161 new cases of COVID-19 and 3,754 deaths 24 hours ago. This comes with great relief as the country has been recording more than 4 lakh cases in the past few days. Earlier Sunday, it reported 4,03,738 new Covid cases and 4,092 deaths. Meanwhile, with a recent increase, India’s total population increased to 2,26,62,575 and the death toll reached 2,46,116.
