The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced that the results of the intermediate exams of both old and new courses held on January 26 evening or March 27 morning, according to the latest ICAI announcement. Once announced, the result will be available at icaiexam.icai.org, careults.icai.org, and icai.nic.in.
Students who wish to receive the results through email can register at iciexam.icai.org from March 24 onwards. Students who sign up will receive their results via email immediately after the announcement, according to the official notice.
Recently, ICAI announced the results of the CA foundation and final exams. In the final exams of the old ICAI CA scheme, most of the 1412 students were passed while in the final ICAI CA program 1270 students passed. Bishal Timsina of Chennai topped the final ICAI exam in CA in the previous course with a score of 479 out of 800 while Bramar Jain of Raipur earned the All India Rank 1 in the CA final with a score of 611 out of 800.
Meanwhile, ICAI has released the May 2021 Examination program. The ICAI CA IPC course exams will begin on May 22 and group II will be on May 31, June 2, and 4. Intermediate group-group tests will begin on May 22 and group-II from May 21. In the final session, group-I-tests will be held from May 21 and Group-II from May 30 onwards.
Recently, ICAI received a nod from the UGC making the CA degree equal to the postgraduate degree and the degree of graduation of CA-intermediate programs. This will mean that CA candidates will now be able to appear in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission to assist experts. It will enable qualified Chartered Accountants to be eligible for junior research fellowship and assistant professors at Indian Universities.
