Bishal Timsina of Chennai topped the final ICAI exam in CA in the previous course with a score of 479 out of 800 while Bramar Jain of Raipur earned the All India Rank 1 in the CA final with a score of 611 out of 800.
Meanwhile, ICAI has released the May 2021 Examination program. The ICAI CA IPC course exams will begin on May 22 and group II will be on May 31, June 2, and 4. Intermediate group-group tests will begin on May 22 and group-II from May 21. In the final session, group-I-tests will be held from May 21 and Group-II from May 30 onwards.
Recently, ICAI received a nod from the UGC making the CA degree equal to the postgraduate degree and the degree of graduation of CA-intermediate programs. This will mean that CA candidates will now be able to appear in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission to assist experts. It will enable qualified Chartered Accountants to be eligible for junior research fellowship and assistant professors at Indian Universities.
