GATE Exam 2022 Admit Cards Can Be Used As Curfew Passes

GATE Exam 2022: GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exams will be held from February 5 to 13 at designated centers across the country. However, given the uncertainties posed by the Covid pandemic, state governments may announce a curfew in the state on these days. GATE 2022 aspirants can use their admission cards as curfew passes or movement passes to travel from their homes to GATE exam centers. GATE aspirants can also use the letter available on the GATE website.

“GATE 2022 Examination Organizing Institute, IIT Kharagpur under the Ministry of Educa,tion, Government of India, issues a letter to ensure the smooth movement of candidates holding valid admission cards on the day of the examination, i.e. February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022 for the GATE 2022 exam,” an official statement reads.

He further added, “District authorities across India have been notified to allow GATE-2022 candidates with a valid admit card to sit for the examination. Candidates can use the admission card and letter available on the GATE 2022 website (https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/documents/Notice_AC.pdf) to access the examination centers.

IIT Kharagpur has already released GATE Admission Cards 2022. To download GATE Admission Cards 2022 from the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in, students need to insert their registration IDs or IDs and words email password.

GATE, organized for admission to master’s programs and recruitment in certain public sector companies, takes place in the form of an online computer-based test. More than nine lakh contestants will appear for GATE 2022 this year.
