GATE 2021: IIT Bombay released final answer key; Result on March 22

Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the final key for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 on its official website, gate.iitb.ac.in. The result is scheduled for release on March 22. However, the analysis of the result is ongoing and can be expected soon.

This year, 8,82,684 students applied for the exam. It has risen slightly from the 8.59 lakh partners who applied last year. This rise is quoted in the fact that GATE allows students from the humanities to apply this year.

GATE 2021: How to download question paper, answer key.

Step 1: Visit the official website, gate.iitb.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the last link for the answer key.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4: Click on the question paper or the final answer key of your subject.

Step 5: A PDF will open, download it.

Once announced, the GATE score will be valid for three years. The qualified students can download their scorecards free of charge between March 26 and May 31 from the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) after the declaration of the result.

According to the GATE standard, candidates may apply for admission to M.Tech courses at all IIT, IISc, and several other institutions. GATE scores can be used for recruitment in PSUs. Those who qualify for GATE will be called for recruitment in rounds on a qualifying basis.

Applicants may also apply for financial assistance (scholarship/assistant ship), and the nominee must first secure the admission to the program at one of the government-funded institutions, through a process that may vary from institution to institution. A weightage of minimum 70% will be given to GATE score and the rest will based on the student’s performance in the test / interview and / or academic record.
