Dharmendra’s tweet comes a day after Maharashtra registered 25 833 new cases in Covid on Thursday, a new position in the province surpassing the previous one-day high of 24,886 cases registered on September 11 last year.
On Friday, Dharmendra took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Earlier in the day, the 85-year-old actor took to social media to remind people to wear masks and keep social distance behind a new high standard in COVID-19 cases. “Mask laga kar baith … lockdown ko lock karna hai ….. toh do gaz ki doori aur mask zaroori,” he wrote. Later, Dharmendra added, “Tweet karte karte josh aa gaya aur main nikal gaya vacnene lene. You should never show off, but to encourage you all … Friends, please take care,” said the veteran actor in the video, taken while being shot in the left arm.
He was referring to his tweet earlier in the day which he had sent to remind everyone to wear masks and maintain public confusion after Maharashtra registered a new high number in the Covid-19 cases yesterday. Dharmendra shared a black and white photo that was discarded, where she could be seen sitting with sliced watermelons and a knife.
“Mask laga kar baith ….. tere tarboz koi nahin kharede ga ……. lock down ko lock karna hai ….. make a gaz ki doori aur mask zarori, (wear a mask always, no one “Someone who is going to buy your watermelons, we have to lock the enclosure, keep the public distance and wear a mask),” said Dharmendra.
