The price of India’s Moto Edge 30 Pro leaked, may be the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone

Motorola is set to launch the Moto Edge 30 Pro worldwide on February 24. The company is expected to bring the device to the Indian market on that day.

Rumors have so far suggested that this will be a redesigned version of the Moto Edge X30 launched in China back in December 2021.

Now, the Indian price of the Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone allegedly leaked online, suggesting that this may be the most affordable phone in india to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.

Tipster Yogesh Brar said the upcoming Moto Edge phone from Motorola will cost Rs 49,999 in India. However, the price of the box will be Rs 55,999.

The quoted source also said that there would be a discount of Rs 5,000, which would reduce the price to Rs 44,999. It is reported that this will be an early bird supply, which may be available for a limited period of time.

Brar also says this will be the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphone in the world.

Devices like the OnePlus 10 Pro, Xiaomi 12 and iQOO 9 Pro are yet to be launched in India, but these devices can be affordable and are expected to offer stiff competition from the Moto Edge 30 Pro.

The Moto Edge X30, which is reportedly to be launched worldwide with the Moto Edge 30 Pro badge, is sold in China for CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 38,000 in India).

This suggests that the company can offer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone in a less expensive way to users. This one also packs the same Snapdragon chip. Leaks also suggested that the upcoming Motorola phone will have the same specifications as the Edge X30.

The device can come with a 6.7-inch OLED display supported by 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. It will be shipped with Android 12 OS out of the box.

It is expected to include stereo speakers and a built-in fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, there can be a standard 5,000mAh battery backed by a fast charging of 68W.

For photography, it is expected that there will be a triple rear camera setting, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrasonic camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is said to play a 60-megapixel sensor on the front in selfies.

It is important to note that Motorola has not yet confirmed the international or Indian date for the launch of the Moto Edge 30 Pro. However, the company is expected to announce the same soon.
