Delhi University Final Exams: Decision to be Announced Soon

The University of Delhi (DU) in its latest statement said varsity is considering the situation and will come out with its decision regarding the May-June 2021 “early” examinations. postponement of final testing due to COVID-19 epidemic.

“The COVID-19 epidemic has affected all humanity, especially our country in recent times. The university is concerned about the health and safety of our students which is a priority and will ensure that the interests of the university community are protected at all times,” varsity said in a formal announcement.

The university also clarified that a decision regarding the mid-year semester or annual exams has been taken and will remain so. The final exams, according to the FU, will be in accordance with the guidelines of the UGC and the Department of Education.

Varsity recently released a final semester test schedule for all Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programs as well as the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB). Varsity has announced that it will hold tests on May 15 at the Open Book Examinations (OBE).

Varsity has been closed since mid-March last year. Last-year students are allowed to visit their colleges or departments for a temporary library or work-related laboratory. Varsity has now put some restrictions on it.
