CSIR NET-JRF 2021: Exam expected to be conducted in June; Notification awaited

New Delhi: The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the expected date for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2021. According to a recent announcement, the CSIR NET 2021 test is likely to be conducted in June this year. The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), CSIR, has informed those wishing to seek the same. HRDG-CSIR tweeted that they will do their best to conduct the CSIR NET exams in June 2021 and inform them of the exact program by mid-April 2021.

The final CSIR NET exam for June 2020 was conducted on November 19, 21, 26 and 30 at various institutions across the country. The CSIR NET result June 2020 was announced on February 24 at www.csirnet.nta.nic.in. The results of the CSIR NET June 2020 were published after answering all the questions / objections received by the candidates in the interim response key. The students qualifying according to their respective category are eligible for fellowship/scholarship.

The qualified NET/JRF candidates have to undergo document verification process according to the official NTA notice,The issuance of a ‘Certificate of Eligibility’ for candidates will be announced shortly on the CSIR official website. Opponents are urged to keep visiting the website to stay informed.

The CSIR-UGC NET exam is conducted through CBT mode to for ‘Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the Lectureship / Assistant Professor’ at many prestigious universities and colleges across the country. CSIR JRF / NET online applications are invited twice a year. The first session is held in June, and the second is held in December. However, the CSIR JRF / NET test for the December 2020 session appears to have been skipped due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
