COVID-19 Immunization: Government Begins Research To Verify Telephone Status Since 1921

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign is in its third phase in India and people receiving firearms are now receiving calls for a government survey to confirm whether they have actually been vaccinated.

The calls were made in 1921 by the Department of Health which it submitted in April last year as a number of COVID-19-related research. The department then assisted citizens to get a call from this number with questions related to COVID-19 and that they should participate “in a positive way” so that they can get a “correct answer.”

The study calls – one of our most recent partners – should ensure that people who have been looking for an appointment through the CoWIN portal have received the COVID vaccine.

This comes after a number of users, who had booked appointments via the CoWIN portal but could not keep it, complained about receiving an SMS saying they had received their COVID-19 vaccine.

To reduce errors, the government has recently introduced a four-digit security code – unique to each registered member that can be accessed from their CoWIN accounts – that vaccinators will use to accurately record beneficiaries’ immunizations.

Last year, the health department distributed a notice informing citizens that the COVID-19-related surveys were being conducted even though the number 1921 was authentic and initiated by the government.

It also sought to alert users to welcome the same survey calls from hackers from any other number except 1921. The notice called on the provinces and union areas to inform residents of the program developed by the Institute.

“People are being informed that it is a real study and are being asked to participate effectively when a call came in from 1921 to enable the appropriate response to the spread and distribution of Covid signs,” the statement said.
