Coronavirus Night curfew in 8 Rajasthan cities from March 22; visitors told to carry COVID-19 negative report

Until 5am.During the outbreak of coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government has decided to set a time for night arrival in eight cities from Monday and made it mandatory for state visitors to carry a negative COVID-19 test report.

Officials say the night arrival time will be extended to Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Sagwada (Dungarpur) and Kushalgarh (Banswara) from 11pm. until 5am, they said.

The decisions were taken at a review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ashok Gehlot, which ruled that travelers coming to Rajasthan from other provinces would have to carry negative reports of RT-PCR (not less than 72 hours) from March 25, officials said.

If the RT-PCR test report for passengers is not bad, they will have to stay in custody for 15 days, officials said.

It was also decided that markets in urban homes would close at 10am.

Rajasthan on Saturday reported 445 new cases of coronavirus, which suppressed the government’s infection rate to 3,24,948, according to an official report.
