Coronavirus – 6 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses sent to 76 nations

Health Minister calls for ‘Jan Aandolan’ policy
More than 6 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been distributed in 76 countries, while 4.5 crore doses are still being distributed to beneficiaries across the country, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday.

He also called for the vaccine to be conducted and conducted “Jan Aandolan” (mass movement).

“As of this morning, about 4.5 meters of the 4.5-meter COVID-19 vaccine has been given to South Africans. More than six crore prices have been sent to 76 countries, ”Mr Vardhan said in a press conference at the Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR-IMTECH) here.

“Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president (BJP) JP Nadda have called for the policy to be made ‘an andolan’ (mass movement),” he said. Science and Technology and Earth Science, has opened the IMTECH Bio-Innovation Center which is an extension of the Atal Incubation Center (AIC) -CCMB, Hyderabad.

The goal of the IMTECH Bio-Innovation Center is to become a center for health sciences, start-up biotechnology and MSMEs from across the country in a short period of time.

Sanjeev Khosla, director, IMTECH briefed the minister on the various activities of the institute and in particular the work done by scientists during the COVID-19 epidemic one year ago.
