CBSE start ‘dost for life’ mentoring program for grade 9 to 12 students

NEW DELHI: CBSE has launched a mobile app(‘dost for life’) to address the mental health problems of students from grades 9 to 12 during the ongoing Covid epidemic.
With the help of the app, students and parents will be able to find answers to their questions in education, health and social topics. This CBSE mobile counseling app is called ‘dost for life’.
According to the CBSE, the app will be used to improve students for education ,health and social welfare. From Monday, the app will be fully available to students.
Free sharing tips for this app will be conducted for free, says CBSE. At least 83 volunteers have joined for live counseling. Of these, 66 are from India and 17 are from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Nepal, Oman, Kuwait, Japan and the USA. Counseling sessions will be held three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am to 1.30pm. and 1.30pm. to 5.30pm

Resources related to education, community, emotions and behavior will be available in the app. Anxiety-related concerns, Internet addiction disorders, depression and special learning disabilities will be removed with the help of this app

The app contains many features, including counseling sessions, expert advice, guidance after class XII, mental health tips, and audio-video related protocols related to Covid-19.
Apart from this, the CBSE Board will provide another opportunity for class X students to pass the exams. 10th students will pass on the basis of internal and semi-annual examinations. Apart from this, if the student fails, he or she will be given another opportunity to test the rooms.
